How We Work

Our Process

A calm, transparent path from first conversation to the room you'll love for years — no guesswork, no surprises.

  1. 1

    Consultation & Design

We listen to your goals, measure your space, and shape an Idaho-inspired design built around how you live.

    • We walk the room with you, measure everything, and look at what is behind the finishes where we can.
    • We talk through layout options, including whether moving plumbing is worth it for your space.
    • You tell us what you actually dislike about the room today — that is usually more useful than a photo of a bathroom you like.
    What we need from you
About an hour, and a sense of your budget range.
    Typical timing
    One visit
  2. 2

    Fixed Quote

You receive a clear, written price before any work begins — no surprise change orders mid-project.

    • Your quote lists scope, materials, and the payment schedule in writing.
    • The price is fixed. The only thing that can change it is something genuinely hidden — old plumbing, a rotted subfloor, past water damage — and we price that with you before continuing.
    • Take the time you need with it. We would rather answer questions now than have you agree to something you are unsure about.
    What we need from you
Questions, and your material selections once you are ready.
    Typical timing
A few days after your visit
  3. 3

    Build

Our craftsmen handle demolition through finish work, keeping your home clean and the timeline on track.

    • Demolition and haul-away first, then rough plumbing and electrical, then inspection.
    • Waterproofing goes in before any tile — this is the stage that decides whether the room lasts, and it is not one to rush.
    • Then tile, glass, vanity, fixtures, paint, and trim. Floor protection and a daily cleanup throughout.
    What we need from you
Access to the space, and a little patience with the noise.
    Typical timing
Typically two to four weeks for a full bathroom
  4. 4

    Final Walkthrough

We review every detail together and make sure your new bathroom is exactly what you imagined.

    • We go through the room together and write down anything that needs attention — however small.
    • That punch list gets completed before we consider the project finished.
    • You get care guidance for your specific tile, stone, and glass, because sealing and cleaning differ by material.
    What we need from you
An honest eye. Point out anything that bothers you.
    Typical timing
    One visit, plus punch-list time
  5. 5

    3-Year Warranty

Every project is backed by a workmanship warranty on top of manufacturer warranties on materials.

    • Your 3-year workmanship warranty is written, not implied.
    • Materials additionally carry their own manufacturer warranties, which we register where applicable.
    • If something is not right afterwards, call the same number you have always called.
    What we need from you
Nothing — just get in touch if something comes up.
    Typical timing
    3 years

What homeowners ask us most

How long will my bathroom be out of use?
For a full remodel, plan on roughly two to four weeks depending on scope, with the room unusable for most of it. A tub-to-shower conversion is considerably shorter. We give you a realistic window in your quote rather than an optimistic one.
Can I stay in my home during the remodel?
Almost always, yes — as long as you have another bathroom. If it is your only bathroom, that changes the plan, and it is worth discussing at the consultation so we can sequence the work to shorten the gap.
What can delay a project?
Three things, in order: material lead times, inspection scheduling, and what we find behind the walls. Choosing materials early removes the most common delay entirely.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. Permits and inspection coordination are included, and we work as a licensed Idaho contractor (RCE-6681702).
Will the same people be there every day?
You work with one project manager from consultation through warranty, so you are never re-explaining your project to someone new.
How do you protect the rest of my house?
Floor protection on the path in and out, dust containment at the work area, and a cleanup at the end of each day. It is a construction site, but it should not feel like one everywhere else.
